ELIANE™ is a 'waxy’ potato starch containing more than 99% amylopectin which offers unique textural attributes combined with high clarity and a great taste profile. This makes ELIANE™ an excellent ingredient line for the development of high quality foods. ELIANE™ combines the superior functionality that potato starch is renowned for, with a unique twist - a short, shiny texture! Bakery creams & fruit fillings

ELIANE™ offers our bakery cream manufacturers the solution of reducing expensive alginates by up to 20%, whilst improving on bake stability and freeze/thaw stability. ELIANE™ also works very well in fruit filling applications. Its clarity is striking, in comparison to cereal-based starches, showing the real fruit to its best.

Powdered soups & sauces and processed meat products

ELIANE™ offers many benefits in dry soups and sauces and in processed meats, thanks to its unique salt stability. ELIANE™ had a much higher water binding capacity in a salt environment than any other starch.

Liquid products; soups, sauces & dairy

ELIANE™ products withstand any processing condition from UHT to extended retort, resulting in refrigerator, steam table and freeze/thaw stability. ELIANE™ withstands other rigorous processing techniques like homogenization, emulsification, high shear and low pH.
