For manufacturing water activated, remoistable gummed paper tape high initial wet tack, fast fibre tear and good flow are important demands.

Veneer tape adhesive
PERFECTAMYL ® potato starches are the perfect adhesive for the production of veneer tape for the plywood industry. In combination with polyacrylates AVEBE delivers a good and effective solution.
Glue for coated abrasive paper
PERFECTAMYL ® can replace animal hide glue as primary base coating and bond for the abrasive grain to the paper backing. It can be used:
- for hand sanding paper,
- for more heat resistant abrasive papers or
- in combination with a resin size coat.
Starch jet cooker for hot water soluble starch products
AVEBE has large experience and the equipment to install a jet cooker for hot water soluble starch based adhesives. If you need advise, want to install or maintain a jet cooker, AVEBE has experience to help you.
