New members of Royal Avebe’s supervisory board

The members' council of Royal Avebe appointed two new members of the supervisory board at its annual meeting today: Angelique Heckman and Nanne Sterenborg. Both are appointed for a period of four years with the possibility of reappointment. Marijke Folkers-in 't Hout and Martin Möllering were reappointed to the board, also for a period of four years.

Angelique Heckman studied law and human resources management and has extensive experience in HR at companies including Royal DSM and Royal Cosun. She also has ample experience in the field of sustainability. Angelique Heckman has been Chief of People & Culture at Royal Swinkels Family Brewers (RSFB) N.V. since 2019. She is also a supervisory director at Witteveen & Bos.

Nanne Sterenborg graduated from higher agricultural college and is an agricultural entrepreneur in Onstwedde and Romania. Nanne Sterenborg is a member of Avebe and is actively involved at his company with precision agricultural and nature management. He also has extensive managerial experience, including as a board member of Agricultural Nature Association East Groningen.

Magda Veenendaal and Kasper de Graaf are stepping down and are not eligible for re-election. Veenendaal was a member of the supervisory board from 2012 with a focus on HR. De Graaf has been a member of the supervisory board since 2008. Avebe is extremely grateful to Magda Veenendaal and Kasper de Graaf for their input and wishes the new members every success with their new tasks.
